With Wimbledon Tennis just around the corner, there’s no better time to get ‘back out there’… The beginning of June has never been more exciting… all this “Love it, couldn’t wear it” outfits are about to make their grand appearance, as it is finally the time to party hard!
Our fashion blogger Veronica Genest is back with her top tips to help us shake the dust off of the dresses that’ve been hiding in the darkest corners of our closet, and step back out into the party scene with confidence.
It’s about time we were all able to plan our outfits without checking the weather app, with indoor restaurants, bars and venues being back open for groups of 6, it’s time we forgot about the weather stepped inside with all the glam we can muster. Think bright and colourful silky satin dresses, sequins and sandals. This June it’s all about making an impact.
Whip out all of those feel good frocks that light up your soul make you feel happy. Because let’s face it, getting your hair and makeup done and putting on some clothes that make you feel your pre lockdown self can make us feel so confident and renewed, and that will always translate to being able to have the most fun – confidence is key ladies!
Don’t be afraid to put on a high pair of heels or a dress that trails below the knee, if you are worried about being too conspicuous, try a full length dress in a minimal colour. White can be especially flattering and is great for summer – and lets not forget we will all be needing a white dress for Lady Wimbledon’s infamous White Tennis Party. Match this with some simple but elegant gold jewellery and your favourite pair of shades, and you’re all set to make an entrance back to your favourite local hot spots.
