Ad Lib Art Gallery Wimbledon Village

A fantastic art gallery has been added to Wimbledon Village’s glamorous high street featuring contemporary artworks by artists such as Nasser Azam, Carolina Piteira, Emma-Leone Palmer, Natasha Archdale, Bob Dylan and many more…  Ad Lib Gallery has recently opened up on Church Road, just a few doors away from The Ivy Café, and is a lovely addition to the local area.

 

Previously based in Fulham/Parsons Green, the gallery was first opened in October 2019 by Dylan Roberts, who has organised and curated various art exhibitions in and around London over the last few years.

 

 

Ad Lib gallery exhibits and sells contemporary original art and limited edition prints at its gallery in Wimbledon and on its website: www.adlib.online. The gallery currently works with around 60 emerging and established artists and photographers from the UK and Europe, including artists from Wimbledon Art Studios, and from Bedales School which is well known for art, drama and music, and was attended by Dylan over 25 years ago.

 

 

Last year, Ad Lib Gallery hosted a series of exhibitions with artist and curator Ben Moore, founder of Art Below, who has worked with many high-profile artists including Damien Hirst, Anish Kapoor, Jake and Dinos Chapman, David Bailey, Mr Brainwash, and Chris Levine.

 

 

Some of the artists from these exhibitions in 2020 are featured at the gallery and on its website, including Nasser Azam, Ben Eine, Adam Bricusse, Ru Knox, James Mylne, Anna Kenneally, and Unskilled Worker. Ad Lib Gallery is also currently showcasing artworks by a multi award-winning artist from Lisbon called Carolina Piteira, and by Iryna Yermolova, Will Solomon, LUAP, Johnny Morant, Carne Griffiths, Louisa Tebbutt, Matt Mackman, Louise McNaught amongst others.

Dylan and his team strive to provide excellent customer service, they are happy to help with sourcing art for your home and they currently offer a try before you buy option if you would like to order a piece of art and see how it looks on your wall before purchasing. The gallery can arrange a commissioned piece of work by one of its many artists if you have something in particular in mind as a gift or for your home. If you decide to buy an unframed artwork the gallery can arrange framing for you using their trusted bespoke framer in Putney.
