When you’re searching for a spring break, it’s always nice to know you’re getting a good deal for your money. So, next time you are wanting to book a trip away, make sure you shop around for the best deals there are to offer, as you could be saving some of your hard-earned pennies!

St. Ives Bay, Cornwall

This is the perfect location for a jam-packed holiday! Whether you’re away with the family, your partner, or you’re enjoying a getaway for you and your friends, Cornwall is always a fabulous holiday destination.

St Ives has some of the best views, alongside gorgeous beaches, the UK has to offer. There are six beaches located in St Ives, each having their own unique characteristics, entertainment venues and sights. You can never get bored. You will find something new to explore at every turn.

If you wanted to, you could stay in Cornwall for five weeks, but equally five days would be enough to keep you fully entertained, and you’d still manage to see some of the best sights. Because St Ives is such a popular tourist area in the warmer months, there are lots of things for visitors to do – which means your next adventure is always approaching!

If you book early in the year, you can find some fantastic deals for this popular location. Even if you are looking for accommodation for a larger group, there are a handful on offer at a good rate, without losing out on luxury, you just need to make sure you keep an eye out!

Mersea Island, Essex

Just eight miles square, this quiet island is the perfect place to visit if you are wanting a relaxing break. Located in Essex, its name comes from the Old English word meresig, meaning ‘island of the pool’. This an ideal place to take your four-legged friend and walk the coastal paths, capturing the beauty of the English seaside.

The island is home to Essex Outdoors, which has over 20 activities, from climbing and high ropes, to caving and a zip wire, perfect if you are wanting the children to run off some steam! The fun doesn’t stop there it also has the tallest team swing in the South East where you can experience 4Gs, an aerial obstacle course, an indoor archery range and new caving facilities.

If you are wanting some relaxation, Mersea Island offers hot tub cottages where guests can take a dip into the warm jets and have some well earned chillout time. Because the island is fairly quiet, this means it can be cheaper than the more popular resorts. If you’re looking for a calming trip, this could be the one for you.

Isle of Wight

This historic island has been known as a great holiday destination since the Victorian ages, it was popular then as is still as popular now! The Isle of Wight is the perfect place to take your children, you could spend the day visiting Blackgang Chine, the UK’s oldest amusement park. Here, the thrill seekers can go on the Evolution ride – a drop tower, 400ft above sea level providing spectacular views across the park.
