Wimbledon Village
Join us in Wimbledon Village to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III and the Queen Consort. Soak up the Coronation Bank Holiday atmosphere with a walk through the Village which will be festooned with Union Jack flags and decorated with royal-themed windows – you’re sure to capture that perfect Instagram shot! Wine and dine like a Royal with special menus and food and wine tastings on offer at a number of the Village restaurants, wine merchants and delis. On Sunday browse the stalls at our fabulous Farmers Market and at 1 o’clock watch the ‘Charles’ and ‘Camilla’ horseback parade down the High Street. From midday the Rose & Crown will be keeping the children entertained with face-painting and crown-making sessions, while for the grown ups, there’ll be live music, a special gin selection and super tasty Coronation Chicken sandwiches on offer.
The Wimbledon Village Stables
Watch Wimbledon Village’s special Coronation Parade on Sunday 7th May led by King Charles and Queen Camilla flanked by the horses and riders of The Wimbledon Village Stables Mounted “Horse-hold” Cavalry Regiment leaving the Dog & Fox at 1 pm prompt and heading towards the top of Wimbledon Hill and then towards the Rose and Crown. Dress up in your finest coronation outfits and wave them on their way!

Wine & Dine Like a Royal this Saturday in Wimbledon Village.
A number of our restaurants, delis and wine merchants are offering themed menus and tastings across the weekend including:
The Black Lamb – Special Coronation Set Menu (£38pp) available from Friday 5th to Monday 8th May.
Giggling Squid – Royal Thai Tea for Two. A delightful stack of their best selling savoury Thai Tapas and sweet treats plus a pot of tea for £32.99 for two people. Available daily 2.30pm – 5.30pm from 1st May – 31st May.
Bayley & Sage – in store tasting from 11am – 3pm on Sunday 7th May. Sample their limited edition Coronation Kings Blue Cheese from Hartington, as well as some English white wine and bubbly.
Friarwood Fine Wines – May 6th and 7th, Roebuck Estates, Classic Cuvee, an English sparkling wine, is available for in-store tasting.
Jeroboams – English sparkling wine tasting on Saturday 6th May, plus additional wine tastings across the weekend. They will also be promoting limited edition Coronation release from Nyetimber, English sparkling wine.
