Well, summer didn’t last long did it? A few hot days where some complained, some sunburn, some brown grass, and it’s gone.

Now here come the coughs, sniffles, sneezes, shivers and sore throats, along with the dip in mood as the sun dies down and the evenings draw in, Out comes the quilt, and let’s see how long we can hold out before putting the heating on. It’s not new, it happens every year and our advice is the same. So, what do we do to look after ourselves at this time of year? Simples….Prioritise your health:

  1. Get plenty of fresh air and exercise
  2. Eat plenty fruit and vegetables
  3. Get sufficient sleep and minimise stress
  4. Stay hydrated
  5. Keep in touch with others

Our natural inclination is to hibernate and stay indoors, as given the choice, we will always gravitate towards ease and comfort. However, if we resist this urge and follow the steps above, we strengthen our immune systems and improve our chances of staying healthy during the winter months. Don’t forget, we also have Halloween and Christmas to look forward to!

Sometimes life gets in the way and it is not always possible to find the time to do everything and we understand. At Total Body Health we supplement and reproduce Mother Nature’s gifts with Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), and Red Light Therapy.

HBOT HELPS WITH:

  • Reducing pain and inflammation
  • Stress
  • Sports injuries
  • Alzheimers / Traumatic Brain Injury
  • Wound healing
  • Fatigue

RED LIGHT THERAPY HELPS WITH:

  • Enhanced mood and brain function
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Skin conditions such as acne
  • Pain relief
  • Arthritis

We have found that combining the 2 therapies produces an exponential effect and gets you back on track faster.

Look out for our autumn offers.
