‘Every time you walk into a business, you deserve to feel welcomed, safe, cared for, listened to, given a VIP treatment. Of course you can expect the best in haircuts, hair colour and styling, and we only use the most beautiful organic, vegan and ethical hair and skincare products in our relaxing hair and spa treatments, but to us, your visit to a salon should be so much more!
The attention to detail in every interaction ought to be designed to make you feel at ease and build trust. We focus on the ‘guest journey’ and dedicate a staff member as the personal assistant to every client for the duration of their visit. Your wellness treatments are all bespoke to you with every hair or spa service.
We train the team on all aspects of service, communication, and elevating the experience to the ‘Above and Beyond’. I’m from California and worked with the best salons in the US, so wanted to share that ‘American Style’ customer service ethos with its passion for making people happy.
All of my team are called Daymakers. it’s their job to make people’s day. I personally meet many of the guests to check in on them for that one to one connection and get feedback to see what we can do better as I am always tweaking and enhancing what we offer.
At checkout, the front of house team always asks guests how their service was, and we genuinely want to know! Feedback is how we can grow. Whenever we add a service I test it out from the guest’s perspective – am I comfortable, does everything look and smell good, is the music the right fit and volume, could anything be more luxe?
You should be able to get a good haircut at any salon, but that elusive welcoming vibe is what sets us apart. All guests enjoy a complimentary neck and shoulder massage on arrival, we have an extensive drinks menu, wifi, REALLY nice toilets and the salon is scented with aromatherapy – sensory comfort is everything! We also care for the environment as much as we care for our guests, and have won awards including Marie Claire’s Best Sustainable Salon, and Mindful Colour Genius, so clients know that their luxury experience isn’t costing the earth.
