Strictly Come Dancing super-couple Kevin and Karen Clifton are set to open a new dance school for aspiring young dancers in Wimbledon, with courses starting in September and January.

There will be a free taster class (personally taught by the pair) for children aged 7 to 13 on Sunday, 4 September 2016 from noon to 2pm at Hillside Church, Wimbledon.

Starting September 11, classes will run at the church weekly during term time with sessions for youngsters aged between 7 and 11, from 1pm to 2pm with children aged 12 to 16 going from 2.15pm to 3pm.

“We want kids to be able to learn the dance styles that we love in a competition-free environment without the restrictions of needing a dance partner or any specific dance gear,” said Kevin Clifton.

Karen added: “It’s a place where they will be free to express themselves while building confidence, staying fit, making friends, and having fun.”

The classes cost £185 for the term.
