Taking place for the first time at the New Wimbledon Theatre, mums and dads get the chance to enjoy the best comedians around (and maybe a cheeky G&T) without worrying about childcare. You have just a few weeks to visit our beloved Polka before it closes its doors to the public until summer 2020. The Theatre turns 40 this year and its birthday gift to audiences is a new building. The final performances of The Wind in the Willows and In the Winter Wood will take place on Sunday 17th February, so hurry up and bring your family and friends to see the highly acclaimed winter shows while you still can. You can also book back-stage tours of the iconic building and be one of the last lucky few to ever see the Polka in this form.

To all Polka fans out there though, don’t panic, you will still be able to experience Polka magic. The theatre will be delivering a huge project called Polka40 across Merton during their temporary closure and Wimbledon Kids will be reporting on it throughout.
