You can make these delicious tennis-party tipples in your kitchen, either for a barbecue or for a tennis party of your own.
WIMBLEDON COLLINS: THE INGREDIENTS
- Ice (you’ll need lots, to fill up the glass!)
- 40ml Sipsmith London Dry Gin
- 15ml sugar syrup
- 20ml lemon juice
- 2 strawberries, sliced
- Soda water to finish
It’s Time to Mix!
WIMBLEDON COLLINS: THE METHOD
The perfect Collins is all about the chill factor: so fill up a tall glass with ice, and add the gin, lemon juice, sugar syrup and stawberry slices. Stir, then top with soda water. Other tips from the Sipsmith master mixologists include chilling the glass beforehand, to keep it cold for as long as possible, and using the freshest citrus juice you can. You’re good to go!
If you want to impress your guests and make your cocktails look even more elegant, you could rim your glass with lemon juice and sugar before mixing, and garnish the top with a few mint leaves.
Trust us: this super summer cocktail recipe will wow your guests while watching the tennis. Cheers!
