Lady W’s Autumn Wardrobe Edit From Cudoni

Lady W’s Autumn Wardrobe Edit From Cudoni

Posted by Lady Wimbledon | 22 November 2019 | Style & Beauty

Lady Wimbledon updates her vintage-inspired autumn/winter wardrobe with bright and beautiful pre-loved designer pieces from Cudoni.com. Here’s her style edit…

Every season, my wardrobe gets a full edit.

Summer clothes that have accompanied me on family holidays, dates and meetings need to be thanked and put away ready for next year. Meanwhile, last years winter clothes are carefully taken out and hung in their place. I am ashamed to admit that a few still have their tags on and I make a promise this is their year to make an outing. I am quite fastidious about my wardrobe; floral dresses to one side, tops on the other and jeans on top. Boots of all shapes and sizes placed beneath and handbags facing forwards. By the time I have completed my edit, I can clearly see a new array of colours, endless possibilities of mix and match, but also what is missing.

I never liked red, I often found it garish and unflattering, yet 2019 made me fall in love with the upfront bold colour and it was my mission to include it in my A/W19 wardrobe. There is a great mix of designer and high-street clothes I accumulate each season, but a handbag has to be a statement piece. Nothing could make me fall harder and faster in love with this red leather Prada Red Leather Vitello Shine Satchel. Thankfully it was on Cudoni’s website for £600 as another 0 would have been added if it were brand new. Prada doesn’t age and my vintage style soaked up its glamour.

When I continued browsing I found a Balmain Peak-Lapel Blazer Jacket. Never in a million years would I buy such a luxury item worth thousands, but as a preloved jacket it was too hard not to resit. Together they made an epic statement outfit which I know I can use frequently with different outfits.

When not at work, I often spend my weekends taking walks in and around Wimbledon woods and often end up in a lovely cosy pub on the common. With emergency snacks, tissues and water to carry, a rucksack is the only option. Nothing quite like a Mulberry Brown Leather Backpack to keep a sense of identity on such excursions.

Finally, my favourite everyday bag has to the maroon Burberry London Red Leather Banner Handle Bag. It even fits my laptop, cardigan and umbrella. With my wardrobe looking a lot sharper, I feel my autumn wardrobe is nearly complete and I also feel great to use pre-loved luxury items that I can pass on to my daughter, or may even sell back to Cudoni next season. For now, I couldn’t possibly imagine parting with each other until we have shared a glorious autumn together.
