Bring out the actor in your child. B.O.S.S. Acting School is the right place for your children, whether they are interested in performing arts or simply want to make new friends.
B.O.S.S. (Be On Stage & Screen) is a new and exciting acting school based in Wimbledon. Founded by professional actors, Jennifer Brooke and Samantha Shaw, B.O.S.S. Acting School offers children of all ages a unique creative experience focusing on the skills of performance, both on stage and screen. Children get the chance not only to perform in front of a live audience but also to bring that performance home digitally.
B.O.S.S. Acting School combines professional training and a creative and fun experience, where kids can express themselves freely and confidently. The classes build communication, courage and creativity to help the kids grow to their full potential and know they can achieve anything!
B.O.S.S. offers two classes: BOSS Beans and Stage & Screen.
B.O.S.S. BEANS CLASSES
For the little Beans (3-5 years old), these classes are a truly unforgettable experience! The kids express themselves, dance to music and explore their creativity, while they make new friends, laugh and have fun.
Taught by friendly and trained Performing Arts practitioners, these classes offer rich learning opportunities to develop a variety of skills, in order to reach the goals of the ‘Early Years Curriculum’. The class is split into four sections: Warm-Up, The Mission, Show Time and Story Time.
Instruments, puppets, parachutes and many more resources are used throughout the BEANS class, including some video and voice recordings during The Mission section to keep the children engaged. Finally, our BEANS will perform in a show at the end of every term so that parents get to see how their little ones build in confidence!

STAGE & SCREEN CLASSES
For the older children (6-10 and 11-18 years old), the Stage & Screen classes give them professional training in performing on stage, film & TV, singing and dancing with the opportunity to take LAMDA examinations.
- Our STAGE classes focus on learning how to be a fabulous actor on stage, whether this is through script, singing or dance and movement, as well as encouraging children to be more socially independent and adapt to new environments.
- Our SCREEN classes focus on developing a truthful, emotional connection to scripts and text that is captured through the camera lens, to create an amazing performance, just like they see on their favourite films and TV shows.
At the end of every term, there will be performance opportunities, including a Christmas showcase, Red Carpet movie premiere and a live cinematic musical. This is a brilliant chance to celebrate the hard work and continue building confidence by performing in front of an audience. Throughout the terms, some industry professionals will lead workshops and/or Q&A’s with the students. Currently lined up: West End and TV star Lucie Shorthouse (Everyone’s Talking About Jamie, Bulletproof), Kassius Nelson (Series of Unfortunate Events, Hollyoaks C4, White Lines BBC) Kenny Fullwood (BAFTA Winning 1917), Dayle Hudson (EastEnders).
