Spring has made an appearance this week with the sun coming out in Wimbledon, so how can we brighten up our makeup?

The easiest and quickest way to brighten up your makeup for spring is with a bright pink lip. I was on a photo shoot this week and left the house at 7am, so had very little time for makeup. This bright pink lipstick from MAC called Girl About Town glams up my look instantly without having to worry about too much about other makeup. You wouldn’t want to do an eye makeup with this as it would look too over the top. To give the look a daytime feel, I applied it with my finger and without any lip liner.

Another photo shoot I worked on a few weeks a go for JD Williams has just come out yesterday. It was all about spring with beautiful spring colours – inspired by these stunning flowers.

We matched the nail varnish to these colours, and this is a great easy way to add colour to your outfit – I love the pastel colours by Ciate.

Last weekend I was at the Glamour Beauty Festival. There were so many amazing products to try out and we were given the best goody bag ever. One of my favourite products from the goody bag was the Estée Edit by Estée Lauder. It draws inspiration from fashion muse Kendall Jenner and beauty influencer Irene Kim. The Beam Team Hydrate + Glow is enriched with hydrating skincare ingredients and illumination to give a healthy glow. Blend with Hyaluronic Acid for lightweight moisture, the warm beige pearls cast the complexion with subtle all-over illumination. The flip cap contains a touch-on golden-beige creme with soft shimmer for instant highlighting. Apply to your favourite glow zones – cheekbones, cupid’s bow or under the brow bone – any time of day for an extra glow.
