This Season we are seeing a spectrum of wintery earth shades emerging with bohemian, paisley and reptile prints. Step into spring by incorporating earth tones, khaki, rusty browns and charcoal by wearing belted dresses, wide leg trousers, boilersuits, square toe cowboy boots, cat eye sunglasses and mix it up with zebra or tiger prints.

Layering neutral hues is key. Take a chic broderie white shirt, with a tailored pair of spice toned trousers or a midi dress and layer with an oatmeal knit jumper. Tailored coats are making a welcomed return, with a fresh edge to the classic trench coat by choosing something oversized or a tailored long wool coat.

Colour co-ords are gracing our catwalks this season in many styles. My current crush for spring has to be the versatility of the Midi skirt, and this spring, the return of the “slip-skirt”. This means an absolute overhaul of this style in a plentiful range of patterns and gorgeous materials like satin. I’ve found two amazing midi skirt co-ords from Topshop and one from & Other Stories to share with you.

If you haven’t noticed this colour yet emerging through onto our high street, then you will see that “pistachio” and “sage” shades are the colours to be seen in.
This colour compliments all the neutral hues and really works with the new reptile prints that are here to stay for the moment.
