What’s On In Wimbledon: 6 – 12 June

Posted by Eyes of Lady Wimbledon | 6 June 2019 | Arts & Culture, What's On

From the launch of Fitnic – Sweaty Betty’s empowering London Fitness Picnic – to a night dedicated to Provençal rosé and an exhibition by a brilliant local artist, we round up the best things to do in and around Wimbledon this weekend…

FITNIC X SWEATY BETTY

Say what? The London Fitness Picnic aims to “bring women together through fitness”, and it’s coming to Wimbledon for the first time this weekend. After a one-hour fitness class hosted by Sweaty Betty ambassadors, there’ll be a delicious and healthy picnic to share, whipped up by a creative local food producer – think Vietnamese, Mediterranean and more – and music playing. An outdoor fitness regime in a fun social setting, with guilt-free treats afterwards – what’s not to love? And don’t fret if you miss the first one: you will find ‘Fitnic’ on Wimbledon Common Southside, just two minutes’ walk from Wimbledon Village, every other Saturday morning until 12th October.

When: Every other Saturday, 11am – 1pm; 8th June – 12th October 2019
Where: Southside Common, Wimbledon, London SW19 5AX

The evening consists of arrival drinks and canapés at 7pm, followed by a three-course menu paired with five wines, after-dinner coffee and petit fours.
