P Middy as we love to call her here at Lady Wimbledon got married last month. If you missed it you must have been on holiday without WiFi…or under a rock.

Her sculpted arms became the envy of women all over the world.  So if you want toned arms like Pippa, check out my top tips below.

First of all, you need to start to lifting kettlebells – trust me ladies, this one piece of equipment can really change your life!

The humble kettlebell is an odd looking piece of weight training equipment it’s quite often overlooked (particularly by females) yet you can change your entire body shape with it, if you know how to use it correctly!

You can get them in a wide range of weights, I would recommend starting with a 4KG or a 6KG if this is your first time using kettlebells.

Make sure you warm up thoroughly from head to toe, (take about 5 minutes to do this) this ensures that all of your joints are mobilised and ready for action!

I would recommend starting off with a short workout to get used to the kettlebell, I’ve listed an example workout below:

Warm Up
Arm Circles
Hip Rotations
Lunges
Squats
Knee Lifts

Exercise 1: Double-handed arm swing

Exercise 2: Single arm kettlebell swing

Exercise 3: Goblet squat

Exercise 4: Lunge

Make sure you cool down properly, spend 5-7 minutes going through a range of stretches to reduce the risk of injury!

Keep it simple, if possible, attend a kettlebell class before hand to learn correct form or have a session with a kettlebell qualified personal trainer. I highly recommend Roxy from Core Active.

Dynamic reformer pilates classes will teach you to use muscles you may never knew you had. It helps build lean muscle,  strengthen the core or rehabilitate injuries. The workouts consist of non stop fluid movement patterns that are physically and mentally challenging. This is the main work out that P Middy said helped change her shape. If it is good enough for her then it is good enough for me.
