Mother’s Day: A Day To Show Your Love

Mother’s Day: A Day To Show Your Love

Posted by Flora Firth | 9 March 2018 | Health & Fitness, Magazine

Sunday 11th March 2018 is Mother’s Day and many people will be celebrating their mothers. Try using this special day to show your love to the other mother-like figures in your life, too.

Mother’s Day is a celebration honouring the mother of the family, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society.

You may have an auntie who you’d talk to about THAT situation, or a Godmother who’s shown you the way in life, a friends mum who’s been there when things got tricky, a childhood babysitter who let you stay up later than normal, a caring Grandmother who loves to have you to visit, or a close friend who no matter what picks up the phone when you call.

Show your love to these mother-like figures in your life this Mother’s Day.

Share a memory over a text message. Dedicate an Instagram post to them. Pop in with a homemade cake. Phone them to say how much they mean to you. Write a letter.

There are so many ways you can show your love to the other leading ladies in your life. Take some time this Mother’s Day to think about who they are, and let them know.
