Keep Moving With This At-Home Workout

Keep Moving With This At-Home Workout

Posted by Eyes of Lady Wimbledon | 18 March 2020 | Health & Fitness

As more of us stay at home and away from the gym, XperienceFit have designed an easy and effective at-home workout to keep us moving…

With uncertainty in the air, the desire to mix with other people at the gym has become less and less. Your fitness routine does not need to slow down because the world has to.

Your body does not need to excessively train, take this time to focus on the important things and give yourself a break. Right now, the last thing you need is an intense training routine, let the body heal whilst the world heals too.

Our XperienceFit team have worked out a very simple routine, adaptable for different abilities that will keep you going whilst the world settles. Dedicate half an hour each day, in the comfort of your own home, to keep your health and fitness levels up. All you need is some space, a water bottle and some good old tunes.

WORKOUT

Reps: 24-21-18-15-12-9-6-3 (do each exercise on repeat, adapt to your capacity)

The routine is simple, yet efficient. It will not only improve your cardio but it will also ensure that your muscles tone gradually.

SQUAT JUMPS

Follow the usual squat position, then push firmly upwards and jump as high as you can maintain your legs in a straight position.

PUSH-UP RELEASE

Complete a normal push-up but when you hit the ground release your hands before pushing back up.
