Want to escape the heat wave and stay fit and relax at the same time? The outdoor swimming pools and lidos across South West London are the perfect place to go. For this long-awaited summer, check the availability before going there and book your slot in advance. Also, be aware that there will be some new rules in place for safety.
1. Hampton Pool, Hampton
Close to Bushy Park and Kingston upon Thames; Hampton Pool has reopened the main pool for lane swimming and family swim sessions. They have also reopened the learner pool for families with small children, as well as some outdoor fitness classes. If you fancy some refreshments after exercising, the cafΓ© is open.

2. Pools on the Park, Richmond
If you want to swim and you are in Richmond, the outdoor pool at Pools on the Park is currently open and if you want some healthy snacks to take away, you can go to the CafΓ© Sisi. Just remember to choose a date and time available and book it in advance.

3. David Lloyd, Raynes Park
The place to go where you and your children can enjoy a variety of activities that will keep you fit. From swimming in the 20m outdoor pool to taking swimming lessons with an expert and sunbathing beside the pool.

4. Brockwell Lido, Brixton

Opening on 12th August, the Tooting Bec Lido with its colourful changing rooms is the largest outdoor pool in England. Save the date and start booking your swimming slot from today. The lidoβs grass surrounds will remain closed to ensure safety.
