Long before it was available to take home, Bloody Bens Bloody Mary Mix was created and perfected at Ben’s Canteen, local restaurants in South West London famous for their excellent brunch offering.
For years, customers asked for the Bloody Mary recipe to be bottled, and in 2017 the man behind the name, Ben Walton, decided to do just that.
Fast forward a few years, Bloody Bens now has a wide range of delicious drinks available to order online, and ready to deliver straight to your door this Christmas.
That flagship Bloody Mary was borne out of a common frustration that Bloody Marys are generally hard to make properly, especially at home when it’s difficult to correctly mix all the ingredients. Bloody Bens Bloody Mary Mix solves that problem by giving you exactly what you need to make a great Bloody Mary in moments. No more delving into the back of the cupboards to find missing ingredients or settling for substitutes.
Ben’s Perfect Bloody Mary:
- 25ml Bloody Bens Bloody Mary Mix
- 125ml tomato juice
- 35ml vodka (try Wild Mary Vodka for the absolute ultimate Bloody Mary)
- Lots of ice!
Stir for two seconds, and garnish with a celery stick and a lemon wedge. Adding a pinch of smoked paprika is also a lovely touch to spice things up.
And don’t worry if Bloody Marys aren’t your thing, because Bloody Bens also has its own selection of awesome gin as well.
Choose from the Premium Pink Gin, inspired by our beloved Wimbledon Tennis to capture the familiar taste of strawberries and cream, or the Signature Gin, a London Dry with honey and orange notes to give it a deliciously distinctive taste (ideal for making cracking Negronis).
Ben’s Perfect G&T:
- 50ml Signature or Pink Gin
- 100ml Fever-Tree Mediterranean tonic
- Lots of ice!
Garnish the Pink Gin with fresh strawberries, or use a slice of orange for the Signature Gin.
