Summer is here, so there’s only one question – are YOU summer ready?

If you have booked a holiday, or are simply staying in the village to soak up the atmosphere, here are some ways to give your body an overhaul…and even better these activities are all on your door step!

Outdoor Boot Camps

One Element deliver high intensity outdoor group exercise classes held in the amazing location of Wimbledon Park. Their classes are delivered by top level athletes and coaches.

Why not get involved in the game that Wimbledon is famous for! The King’s Club runs social tennis sessions that are open to both members and guests. It is a good way to meet new people and improve your game. The Lawn Tennis Association also run cardio tennis sessions – these will help burn fat and improve your game. In addition the opening times of tennis courts in parks will be extended. So no excuses!

Yoga (Outside)

Need to check in with your spiritual side and well-being? Why not try outside Yoga in Wimbledon Park delivered by MA&YThey offer of Hatha Yoga practice open to all levels, especially beginners. The focus is on alignment and breathing, as well as faster paced Vinyasa flow.

Want to detox and cleanse your system? I recommend the juices at Hot Yoga Wimbledon, my favourite is the Superyogi: apple, carrot, celery, spinach, broccoli, cucumber, ginger, lime. Nom! This is perfect if you need a vitamin boost. It contains vitamins A, C and E, calcium, iron, potassium, and selenium – which is great for your skin and immune system and chlorophyll, which is like liquid sunshine!
